The Trail of the Tools
Featuring Zefrondel, Stefan, Blodwin, and Cy.
You started by figuring out that the tools very well could have been made in Lepidstadt due to the presence of the University. The crafts men in the city who make such things usually work out of an area known as the Surgeons’ Flats. From there you found that the raven maker’s mark led you to Zbraslav Hora and Sons.
Zabraslav Hora and Sons
Hora is a bookish man with thick spectacles. He was able to provide you with the name of the purchaser, Vladka Kostel, a red-haired Varisian woman. She works for an actuion house, but he doesn’t know which one. Asking around, you found that she works for Ledov’s Chirurgery Merchants.
Ledov’s Chirurgery Merchants
Vladka Kostel remembers it being bought by a man with an unusual high hat, but no other details. She suggests you look up the owner of her auction house, Ollo Klud. Klud is reluctant to release any information on buyers, but some gold loosens his lips. The buyer was a supply shop in the Surgeon’s Flats operated by a shopkeeper called Radniche.
This shop, filled with pickled organs in jars, half-completed skeletons of many races. More gold is needed to convince him to reveal the final buyer of the tools: Master Vorkstag of Vorkstag and Grine’s Chymic Works. Leaving this shop, the group was attacked by a some thugs, trying to press your group into stopping with the questions.
Vorkstag and Grine’s Chymic Works
Someone in the party (I forget who) found out that the Chymic Works is a respected chemical business and the owners are well respected within the upper echelon of the city.
The group found the alchemic factory and attempted to talk to one of the owners, but Grine dismissed the group. Blodwin recognized Grine not as a gnome, but rather as a dark creeper. The group then decided to try and get in, but the flesh golem hound was very difficult to defeat. At that point the night ended.
