Natural 1 is an automatic fail

Ability Checks:

Natural 20 counts as a +4 on your check

Skill Checks:

Action Points

While they’ve been a staple of my games for some time, I’m going to try and work without them for this campaign. As an alternate, we’ll try the Harrow Deck rules – it is a smaller, more random bonus, but it fits more with the feel of the campaign.
